Vectopia at HUG Innovation Day 2026

The Fondation pour Recherches Médicales is delighted to highlight Maude Rolland and Vectopia, a startup hosted at La Tulipe, who will take part in the 20th HUG Innovation Day on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

Maude Rolland will present Vectopia during the “Breakthrough Innovation” pitch session, starting at 1:50 PM, alongside other promising projects from Geneva's healthcare innovation ecosystem.

Vectopia develops innovative technologies to improve and simplify lentiviral vector manufacturing, a key component of many gene therapy applications. Its ambition is to help make advanced therapies more accessible to patients by addressing challenges related to manufacturing complexity and costs.

Organized by Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), Innovation Day is an important event showcasing ideas, discoveries and initiatives with the potential to transform healthcare. The program features project pitches, demonstrations, poster presentations and exchanges between researchers, healthcare professionals and innovators.

Although registration for this year's edition is already full, we are pleased to highlight this valuable initiative, which fosters collaboration and helps bridge the gap between scientific discoveries and real-world healthcare applications.

The Fondation pour Recherches Médicales warmly wishes Maude Rolland and the entire Vectopia team every success with their presentation. We are particularly proud to see a member of our community contributing to this event and showcasing Geneva's strength in biomedical innovation.
